Our system uses high pressure water jets to break up solid ground, while simultaneously vacuuming the debris into a 1.5t holding tank. This type of excavation is the method of choice when there are buried assets such as power, water, gas and fibre optic cables. The vacuum excavator does not damage the assets, providing a safe reliable method of excavation. Also suitable for cleaning stormwater pits, removing old insulation, cleaning roof gutters and cleaning liquid spills. - CCTV pipeline inspections
Pipe Hunter can carry out cctv survey of pipelines from 30mm diameter, up to 300mm. Information is presented to you in DVD format, together with a written condition report. Our cameras are fitted with transmitters which allow for accurate location of the conduit. We can carry out complete surveys of entire facilities, compiling accurate drainage plans in hard copy or electronic GIS format. The GIS plan has the inspection footage imbedded, allowing you to inspect the drain in question with a click of your mouse. read more...
- Drain cleaning
We have 2 X 1 tonne vehicles which are fitted with 3000Psi ‘mini-jets’ suitable for cleaning drains up to 150mm diameter with high pressure water jets. These units also carry mechanical sewer cleaning machines, and push rod cameras. Ideal for domestic and light commercial blockages. We also have a municipal jet truck, which is also carries a camera. This machine will clean drains up to 450mm diameter. read more...

- Robotic cutting of obstructions from within the pipe
Pipe Hunter has invested heavily in robotic cutting equipment which is capable of cutting obstructions from within the pipe. Imported from Denmark, and one of only 3 in Australia, our cutter operates in pipelines from 70mm diameter up to 300mm diameter. The robot can be used to cut liners from junctions after pipelining works or for milling solid deposits such as render.
